General Questions
Why should I book directly with you?
You should book your vacation with me because I bring a personalized touch to every aspect of your travel experience. Before I begin planning your vacation, I meet with you to find out what your expectations are and what you desire from your vacation. Then I meticulously research destinations to craft customized itineraries tailored to your preferences. I ensure that your vacation is not just a trip, but a memorable journey filled with unique adventures and unforgettable moments. With my dedication to detail and passion for travel, I guarantee that your vacation will be nothing short of extraordinary.
What if a promotion becomes available after I book a trip?
In my role as your committed travel specialist, I’ll keep a close eye on your booking, continuously seeking out the latest discounts to ensure you secure the best possible deal, even after your vacation is booked. (You won’t find that kind of service when booking with some of those other big name booking sites.) If a promotion becomes available and your vacation is eligible, I will work promptly to get the promotion or discount applied to your vacation. That way you can rest assured that your getting the best deal every time!
Do you charge planning fees?
The short answer: sometimes. When we meet at the beginning stages of planning your vacation, I will let you know if your vacation will require a planning fee.
What services do you provide when booking a vacation?
I am a full concierge travel planner, meaning that I can do it all. I can help you with booking your flights, hotel, transfers, securing a rental car, booking excursions and dining plans. I can do as much or little as you need!
I already booked my vacation, but can you still help me?
Yes, as per vendor policy, I can only extend access to our services for reservations booked through me. If you’ve already made a reservation, I might be able to facilitate transferring your booking to my agency, enabling you to benefit from our complimentary services. For example, if you arranged a Disney or Universal vacation by yourself within the past 30 days, we can transfer the booking to me as your agent, and I’m delighted to assist you further with your plans. For reservations made over 30 days ago, we can discuss alternative options like rebooking.
Are your prices better than what I can see on my own?
The outcome can vary depending on your chosen destination. In my capacity as a travel agent, I maintain partnerships with vendors, enabling us to stay abreast of exclusive discounts, promotions, and sales. Additionally, we possess an array of resources dedicated to securing the optimal deal for you, a task that may be time-consuming if pursued independently. It’s essential to note that affordability doesn’t always equate to quality. While I strive to secure cost-effective options for my clients, my priority is ensuring they embark on a vacation that aligns with their preferences and promises an enjoyable experience.
Regarding Disney and Universal Studios vacations, we utilize the same booking system they employ, granting us access to real-time availability and pricing. These rates are identical to what you’d find on their respective booking platforms. As travel agents, we’re privileged to receive early notifications about their time-sensitive promotions, allowing us to promptly apply them to your vacation package, ensuring you capitalize on all available deals without delay!
Is travel protection really worth getting?
Yes! I always recommend purchasing travel protection. You never know when something may come up that will cause you to change your travel plans, and you don’t want to be out hundreds or thousands of dollars! I have personally had to use travel protection twice when my son got sick the day that we were to leave for vacation. If we had not had travel protection, we would have been out quite a bit of money.
Can I put a deposit down and make payments towards the balance of my vacation?
Depending on how early you book your vacation and where you are traveling, you can put a deposit down and make payments in most cases. For instance, Disney allows you to reserve your vacation for only $200 if the vacation is over 30 days away. However, you must pay your full balance once your arrival date is 30 days away. Different vendors and locations have different requirements and deposit amounts. This will be something we will talk about when you are planning your vacation.
